Andreas Pereira is being targeted by yet another Spanish club for a season-long loan deal. That’s according to Sport Witness, who say that Valencia CF are targeting a twelve-month deal for the starlet. Pereira, 21, spent the last campaign playing for Granada, where he impressed.
The tricky little Brazilian came back to Old Trafford over the summer, and played plenty of football during Manchester United’s pre-season tour; particularly in the United States of America.
However, as of yet, Pereira hasn’t featured in any of Jose Mourinho’s squads for the competitive fixtures (Real Madrid, West Ham, Swansea City). Of course, it’s going to be tough for him to break his way in, but honestly, I’d much prefer him to stay and fight for his place.
Apparently, Sport Witness’ sources are telling them that Mourinho wants to keep hold of the attacking midfielder.
With six attackers fighting it out for four positions, an injury here or there coupled with the Champions League kicking off in September could be Pereira’s way in.
He has to remain patient and keep working hard in training. There is no doubt that the young man will get his opportunity eventually…
