Manchester United’s centre-half woes have been ever present this season. In the end, that’s perhaps what cost Jose Mourinho his job at the Theatre of Dreams.
The club are clearly looking to right those wrongs, though, with The Independent now claiming that the Red Devils’ search is pointing in Milan Skriniar’s direction.
According to the report, the 24-year-old is now amongst United’s top transfer targets, with a move for the Slovakian seen as the ‘likeliest deal’.

Where Skriniar is concerned I’d happily make an exception. This boy is brilliant, he has experience aplenty already, he’s quick, great in the air and positionally solid. I think he’d slot right into the team at Old Trafford, and although Skriniar would cost a pretty penny, it’d be well worth it.
Hopefully, Edward Woodward can pull this one off over the summer and give United fans something to shout about, and look towards…
