Manchester United Football Club simply must get back to winning ways on Wednesday. Jose Mourinho’s men are now sitting eleven points off top spot, so there is absolutely no room for error.
AFC Bournemouth will provide a tough test, though, with Eddie Howe’s men playing some decent football this term. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the starting XI the Red Devils will go with.
Check out the Man United predicted XI here:
In goal, who else will play but David de Gea. The Spaniard has saved our bacon on several occasions this term, and no doubt we’ll be calling on him again. Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young have both been playing well in the full-back roles, so they’ll both play. Phil Jones has returned from injury and it’ll be good to see him back in action. Victor Lindelof makes up the back four.
With our midfield depleted, Nemanja Matic will partner Ander Herrera in the centre. Paul Pogba was badly missed against City, but he’s still got two more games of his suspension to serve. Jesse Lingard will start in the #10 role.
I don’t agree with the decision, but I expect Romelu Lukaku to continue. Marcus Rashford will play, with Juan Mata making up the starting XI.
