4-2-3-1: Man Utd XI vs Crystal Palace – Stars rested for cup semi

With the FA Cup semi-final against Everton looming, Louis van Gaal has a dilemma as to whether he goes full strength in the league. He simply has to prioritise our best chance at silverware, but with rivals slipping up, he could be tempted to go for broke against Palace on Wednesday.

David de Gea will obviously continue in goal, but one man who needs a rest is Daley Blind. Timothy Fosu-Mensah will come into the side. Marcos Rojo will play at left-back, with Matteo Darmian coming in as the right-sided full-back.

Morgan Schneiderlin will get a break, meaning Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick will get one final chance to show what they can do ahead of the semi-final.

Memphis Depay, Wayne Rooney and Jesse Lingard will all start, with Anthony Martial leading the line after being rested at the weekend. Marcus Rashford will get the day off.
