4-2-3-1: Man Utd XI vs Watford – No Ander Herrera

Manchester United unfortunately don’t take to the field for around ten days or so now due to the international break, but that certainly won’t stop Louis van Gaal from working extremely hard, and trying to work out a tactic to beat Watford in their next league game.

All away games are always going to be tough, and that won’t be any different here. I expect the manager to deploy a defensive minded team as thats how he likes to set up, and with that in mind we should see Chris Smalling and Phil Jones start at the heart of the defence.

In front of them is a solid midfield duo of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick – who both performed admirably in the victories over CSKA Moscow and West Brom.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the pitch is without doubt the front four. Its full of pace, talent and creativity, and it allows Juan Mata to play in the centre of the park – with Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard out wide.
