Manchester United have been involved in three straight Premier League draws, which is obviously a real concern for Jose Mourinho and his coaches. The next game up is Leicester City away, and let’s not forget they are the current champions.
Ahead of that eagerly anticipated game, we’ve decided to try and decipher Jose Mourinho’s mind and work out the eleven he’ll go with. After a poor performance against Hull, we could well see a few changes being made.
First up, David de Gea will likely start in goal, and he’ll have Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Antonio Valencia all continuing in front of him. The only possible change we may see is Phil Jones dropping out due to an injury, this presents Eric Bailly with an opportunity to win his starting job back.
The middle of the park has been the main issue recently, and it comes as no coincidence that a dip in form from Michael Carrick has led to some bad results. The veteran could well drop out of the side, with Jose going for a more attacking trip of Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba and Juan Mata.
Onto the front line we go, then, and obviously Zlatan Ibrahimovic will lead the line, but those two other spots could well be up for grabs. Henrikh Mkhitaryan will likely get one, with the left-hand spot going to Anthony Martial.
