Manchester United’s pre-season tour of America is over, but the Red Devils still have a couple of games to play before the UEFA Super Cup. First up, Norweigan side Valerenga this coming weekend, in a game that we should be looking to win comfortably.

Ahead of the match, we’ve drawn up our predicted XI, and it includes a few youngsters. It should give Jose Mourinho the opportunity to take a good look at some of the immense talents we have on our books.

Check out the Man United XI vs Valerenga below:

In goal, we’ll see some more of Joel Pereira who is proving just how talented he is. Who knows, he could be the long-term successor to David de Gea providing all goes well. Then, we’ll finally get a look at the back two of Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly in tandem. Either side of them, Matteo Darmian and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are involved.

Then we move onto the midfield pairing. Paul Pogba looked pretty good against FC Barcelona, and he’ll only get better as the match fitness grows. Alongside him will be Ander Herrera, who’s now back and available for selection following an injury.

Andreas Pereira will finally get a chance to prove his worth in the #10 role. Either side of him will be Juan Mata and Anthony Martial, who’ll provide the perfect blend of creativity and speed. Then, Romelu Lukaku will lead the line.
