Manchester United’s form at the moment has to be an absolute concern for Jose Mourinho, and the Old Trafford faithful. Results aren’t going our way, and the performances, particularly away, just haven’t been anywhere near good enough for a club of our calibre.
Things don’t get any easier either, with a tricky trip to Swansea next up on the agenda. We’ve decided to take a deeper look at the starting eleven, to try and work out who’s in, and who’s out of proceedings.
David de Gea will continue in goal, and despite the horrific display of the back four in midweek, it’ll have to be the same players taking to the field due to the injuries in that area of the field.
Michael Carrick will finally get a deserved start in the Premier League though which is a huge positive. Paul Pogba seemingly has a leg injury, so Morgan Schneiderlin could well start beside him.
The front four is filled with tough decisions to make. Juan Mata will play in the #10 role, with Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard either side of him. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will lead the line.
