4-3-3: Man Utd XI vs Southampton – Depay & Borthwick-Jackson start

Manchester United take on Southampton at Old Trafford this Saturday, with Louis van Gaal clearly keen on keeping our good form going. Ahead of the game there has been some mixed injury news given to the Dutchman, and that could see a few changes being made to the line-up.

David de Gea will obviously keep his place in goal, with a defensive duo of Daley Blind and Chris Smalling behind him. Matteo Darmian will move over to the right-hand side, with Cameron Borthwick-Jackson coming into the left-back slot in place of the injured Ashley Young.

More changes take place in midfield, with Marouane Fellaini and Morgan Schneiderlin being removed in favour of the returning duo Bastian Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick. Ander Herrera will continue in the attacking midfielder role.

Memphis Depay will play on the left-hand side, with Anthony Martial starting on the right-wing. Wayne Rooney will continue as the lone striker.
