4-3-3: How Manchester United could line up if Alexis Sanchez signs

Sensationally, Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move to sign Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez. It looked for all the world that the Chile international would be heading to Manchester City, but suddenly, the Red Devils are favourites for his signature.

With that in mind, we’ve drawn up what we think our best starting line-up would be with everyone fit and ready to play. My, it certainly looks like a team capable of going toe-to-toe with the best in the world, that’s for sure.

Check out what we think our strongest XI would be:

The great thing about Sanchez is his versatility. This is a guy who has the ability to play as the sole striker, start on the left and cut inside or get the nod on the right and use his sheer pace and ability to beat his man.

With Mourinho at the helm, I don’t doubt that the gaffer will continually change up Sanchez’s position to suit the way a certain game is going, and that’s the great thing about the top players – they can adjust and adapt to the situation.

Sanchez will score goals, and I’ve felt that United have been one marquee attacker short recently. The Arsenal man will go an awfully long way towards fixing those problems, particularly in the so-called ‘big matches’.
