Manchester United Football have the chance to take control of their Champions League group, if Louis van Gaal’s men can grab three points on the road in Russia. Hopefully the team that demolished Everton doesn’t change too much, but I expect the counter attacking football to continue.
A 4-3-3 formation with full of pace would be the perfect option for that. Wayne Rooney will lead the line with Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial either side of him.
The midfield three of Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick and Morgan Schneiderlin provides the perfect blend of legs, passing ability and defensive solidarity, and it should be more than capable of winning the midfield battle.
A back line with Daley Blind and Chris Smalling at the heart will be tough to break down, particularly with Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian as the wing-backs. David de Gea will obviously continue in goal.
