4-3-3: Manchester United XI vs Stoke City – midfield duo return

Manchester United Football Club could well have a new man at the helm come Boxing Day, when the side take on Stoke City. Ahead of the game, the Dutchman who is still in charge will have plenty of key decisions to make in terms of squad selection.

Wayne Rooney came back against Norwich, and although he was once again poor, there is no doubt that he will continue to lead the line. Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial will be either side of him.

Ander Herrera could well get his first start since Watford away, and his intelligence on the ball will be a welcome addition. Morgan Schneiderlin should also come back into the mix.

Phil Jones and Chris Smalling with Ashley Yong coming in at right-back, and Daley Blind starting at left-back as he did last time around.
