Manchester United Football Club take on Juventus in Turin tomorrow night, in a fixture that could prove vital towards qualifying for the knockout rounds of this season’s Champions League.
Jose Mourinho’s men have won two on the spin since their Old Trafford defeat to the Old Lady, so they’ll be going into this one with much more spring in their step. With that said, the game itself is sure to be a difficult match-up, Juve are amongst the best teams in Europe, and beating them on their own turf will not be easy.
Anyway, let’s delve right into the predicted starting line-up for this one, with Mourinho likely to be considering making a few changes.
Check out our predicted Man United XI vs Juventus here:
First up, David de Gea will obviously play. He was sensational against Juventus last time out and we’ll need more of the same from the Spaniard. Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling have been decent at the heart of our back four. That must continue. Then you have Luke Shaw and Ashley Young who are playing well.
Nemanja Matic will probably keep his place (although I’d like to see him benched for a game or two), with Paul Pogba playing against his old club, while Ander Herrera comes into the team following an excellent cameo against AFC Bournemouth.
Alexis Sanchez has to continue through the middle, with Anthony Martial a shoe-in to play on the left. I’d also opt for Marcus Rashford from the start, despite Juan Mata being in good form.
