Manchester United’s playing squad will be in buoyant mood following an excellent result at home to Chelsea last weekend.
Jose Mourinho’s next assignment is a potentially tricky game away at Crystal Palace. It’s essential to keep the good run going, so I fully expect the self-proclaimed Special One to name an extremely strong starting line-up.
Check out the predicted XI here:
Perhaps the easiest position to pick is the goalkeeper. David de Gea is a shoe-in to start when fit, and he deserves to be undroppable based on what he’s done for the Red Devils recently.
This could be an excellent game to throw Eric Bailly back into the mix, and what a boost it’ll be to have him back. Chris Smalling will also start. Antonio Valencia will start at right-back, with Luke Shaw getting the nod ahead of Ashley Young.
Nemanja Matic looked back to his best against his former employers, so he’ll start. Scott McTominay deserves to keep his place in the team after another accomplished display. Paul Pogba completes the midfield trio.
Romelu Lukaku’s fine form continued with arguably his finest outing in a United shirt vs Chelsea. Alexis Sanchez will move to the right, with Anthony Martial playing on the left.
