Manchester United take on Juventus at Old Trafford tomorrow, in what could be a game that decides the overall winners of the Champions League group.
Jose Mourinho will be looking to get one over on the brilliant mind that is Massimiliano Allegri, with the visitors currently sitting on two wins from their two outings so far. The fixture will play host to some of the best players in world football, including none other than Cristiano Ronaldo, who returns ‘home’ once again.
Anyway, let’s get straight into the starting XI that we think manager Mourinho will go for…
Predicted Man United XI vs Juventus:
David de Gea will continue in goal, with the now customary back two that is Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling. The pair is far from perfect, but right now, they’re looking solid, so let’s continue to roll with them until that changes. Luke Shaw will start as the left-back as his good form continues, while Ashley Young makes up the defence.
Nemanja Matic will sit at the base of the midfield. He put in his best display of the season against Chelsea, hopefully, those encouraging signs continue. Paul Pogba will obviously start, as should Juan Mata who is forcing his way into the team.
Anthony Martial is a shoe-in to play, with Marcus Rashford likely starting opposite him. Romelu Lukaku needs to sit this one out, allowing Alexis Sanchez his chance to play through the middle.
