Well, last time out, Manchester United’s winning record under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came to an end. However, the unbeaten streak lives on as the Red Devils came from 2-0 down to salvage a draw.
Next up is a fixture away at Leicester City, who have always given the tough teams a run for the money; whoever they play against. I’m fully expecting the game this weekend to be no different.
After tinkering with the team in midweek, don’t be surprised to see Solskjaer go back to what has worked so successfully for him during his short tenure as United gaffer. Anyway, let’s delve right into the predicted starting line-up…
In goal, obviously David de Gea will start. Then, Victor Lindelof will play, feeling confident after scoring his first United goal. Eric Bailly will partner him, coming back into the team after a midweek rest. Luke Shaw will get the nod at left-back, with Diogo Dalot coming in at right-back due to his pace and height.
Nemanja Matic has been a tank recently so it would seem odd if he didn’t start in a potentially tricky away game. Ander Herrera will get himself a place in the side, with Paul Pogba making up the now customary midfield trio.
After being stuck out on the wing last time out, Marcus Rashford will lead the line once again. Both Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial are back involved from the start. Their pace will cause problems for any defence.
