4-3-3: Predicted Manchester United XI vs Arsenal – Dalot starts first PL game

Diogo Dalot: Signed from FC Porto.

Manchester United dropped more Premier League points this weekend, with Jose Mourinho’s men falling further and further off the pace. Right now, Europa League football is looking impossible, nevermind Champions League…

Things don’t get any easier, either. Next up, Arsenal visits Old Trafford in a crucial game. Although we’re only in early December, this game could prove to be make or break. Win, United are back in it somewhat, lose, and I don’t give us any chance whatsoever…

Before that, though, the club are struggling with injuries, so with that in mind, let’s take a look at a predicted starting line-up that Mourinho could opt for…

Check out the predicted Manchester United XI vs Arsenal here:

In goal, David de Gea will obviously keep his place. The Spaniard has been brilliant recently, and no doubt that’ll have to continue in this one. The back four is anyone’s guess, though. Phil Jones and Luke Shaw are shoe-ins to start (provided the latter is fit), while Ashley Young is suspended, it could provide a great chance for Diogo Dalot. Hopefully, Eric Bailly will pull through and be fit enough to start.

Nemanja Matic will be back in familiar territory, with Paul Pogba starting despite a poor performance last time out. Ander Herrera will make up the midfield three, and his energy will be key.

Both Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial were benched at the weekend, likely with this one in mind. These two will be fully fit and raring to go and what an opportunity they have. Romelu Lukaku will lead the line fresh off of his goal last time out. Hopefully, he’s found his shooting boots again and we’ll see more output from him from here on out.
