Manchester United have an 100% winning record in their three competitive games so far, scoring five goals and conceding just one in that time. Louis van Gaal has got his side looking solid, whilst doing just enough to secure that all-important victory.
The team will be looking to make it another win at home to Newcastle this Saturday, and Louis van Gaal would be foolish to make too many changes ahead of the Magpies’ visit.
Sergio Romero will keep his place in goal despite not being all that convincing, with the same back four in front of him. Morgan Schneiderlin has been a revelation in that defensive midfielder spot, mopping things up wonderfully.
It was a tough call to leave Bastian Schweinsteiger out for Michael Carrick, and Adnan Januzaj will also continue in the #10 role after looking dangerous against Brugge.
The front three of Juan Mata, Memphis Depay and Wayne Rooney will continue, but our main striker must do better. Depay will be hoping to bring his form from Tuesday night into the Premier League.
