Yesterday, we covered a story in which it was discovered that Aaron Wan-Bissaka would return to Manchester United due to a back problem.
The talented right-back has unfortunately been denied his England debut due to said issue, though the problem for the Red Devils is getting him fit for when they return to Premier League action in eleven days time…
Apparently, though, the key 21-year-old star is a ‘doubt’ to take on Leicester City at Old Trafford on September 14th. That’s according to The Guardian.
Suddenly, the injuries are piling up for the Reds. Diogo Dalot is out, as are Eric Bailly and Luke Shaw. Defensively, we’re looking thin on the ground so we have to hope this isn’t anything serious.
After making an excellent start to life at United, losing Wan-Bissaka for any period of time whatsoever would be critical – particularly as our fixtures following the international break are extremely tough.
I guess for now it’s about resting his back, putting his feet up and not straining himself too much. Then, he’ll be assessed upon his return to United when he starts to feel better. Back injuries aren’t to be messed with and it’s important that Wan-Bissaka isn’t rushed back, too.
Get well soon, Aaron!
