Manchester United’s transfer business has been handled excellently by Jose Mourinho and Edward Woodward so far, with our new manager showing brilliant decisiveness in terms of incoming transfers. However, one rumour popped up last night that the fans weren’t happy with.
Reports suggested that Timothy Fosu-Mensah was due to be sold by Manchester United, as he wasn’t a part of Jose Mourinho’s plans. However, those rumours have been quashed immediately by Fosu-Mensah’s agent, Jonathan Barnet.
‘All those rumors in media are from nowhere,’ Jonathan Barnet is quoted as saying.
‘Timothy Fosu-Mensah stays at Manchester United.’
This is certainly reassuring for the young man. Fosu-Mensah is one of the biggest prospects on Manchester United’s books at the moment, and Jose Mourinho clearly sees the talent in him.
The 18-year-old has an extremely bright future, and that future simply has to be at Manchester United. He has the potential to nail down a spot in our team for the next ten years plus, and if he manages to do that, it gives the manager one less problem to worry about.
