Alexis Sanchez already impressing Manchester United coaching staff

Alexis Sanchez is already showing just how dedicated he is to succeed at Manchester United, as he’s staying behind after training to put in another 30 minutes work.

That’s what a source has told The Sun anyway, as the Chile international still feels he’s off the pace after having an inconsistent season. This is exactly the dedication that’ll be pleasing manager Jose Mourinho, and after an excellent game against Huddersfield Town, the 29-year-old is already making his mark.

“He has been doing an extra half an hour after the main session has finished by himself.

“Nobody had asked him to do it but he feels there is an extra sharpness to be had.

“He has got his head down and you can see the steam coming off his body after working outside, it’s so impressive.

“He doesn’t have to do it, he just insists on it. You will not find a better pro around really, he’s superb.”

Obviously, I’m biased, but I love Sanchez already. He’s made to play for Manchester United Football Club and once he gets fully up to speed I cannot wait to see him set the Premier League and Europe alight.

There’s a hunger in his play that I’ve not seen at Old Trafford in quite some time. If he loses the ball, Sanchez will work his socks off to help the team try and win it back as quickly as physically possible and it’s superb to watch.

Against both Yeovil and the aforementioned Huddersfield, Sanchez got kicked off the park for 90 minutes. Did he let that bother him? Not at all. He got up, dusted himself down and went right back to work. He’s an impressive individual, and stories like this will only further endear him to the Old Trafford faithful.
