Manchester United’s Ander Herrera got a rare Premier League start against Everton over the weekend, and my did he take his chance. He was at the heart of everything good for United in an offensive sense, capping off a superb performance with a goal.

After the game he explained his celebration in front of the United fans, and added its his way of thanking them for their support.

“That is why I celebrate my goals with the fans because I have to say ‘thank you’ to them for supporting us.” Herrera said.

The 26-year old always plays with a smile and its great to see. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and he’s loving life at Manchester United and rightly so.

Louis van Gaal seemingly hasn’t got complete faith in the Spaniard just yet, but surely he has to start every game for the foreseeable future after putting in the best #10 performance we’ve seen from anyone in the red shirt this season.
