Angel di Maria reveals why he left Manchester United

Manchester United Football Club broke a British record when they made the £60million move to bring Angel di Maria to Old Trafford just over a year ago, but the 27-year old Argentine didn’t last long in Manchester – less than twelve months in fact.

He has now revealed the reason as to why he left, and he claims that his relationship was Louis van Gaal was strained.

“I didn’t have a very good relationship with the coach, so I think the decision to join PSG was the best solution.” Angel di Maria said.

Di Maria was always trying to nudge a move out of Old Trafford since the turn of the year. Clearly he didn’t want to fight to turn his form around and he bailed out at the first opportunity despite publicly stating his desire to stay.

At the end of the day his move away was in the best interests of all parties. He didn’t want to be here and United need players that wear our badge with pride.
