For Manchester United, it has been a simply stunning few months with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the wheel.
The Baby Faced Assassin has the Red Devils believing in themselves again, with pretty much every player improving since he took charge. Amongst those is Anthony Martial.
Our French superstar is enjoying an excellent season after missing out on France’s World Cup winning squad as Didier Deschamps decided to take other players instead.
Now, according to Sky Sports News, he has been called up for the latest round of international fixtures for France – which includes some EURO 2020 qualifiers.
First and foremost, this tells me that Martial is 100% fit and ready to play which is a huge boost for United before they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.
For Martial, it must feel good to get himself back in the mix for his country. It has been a stop-start career for him in that regard, but now, it’s time for the Frenchman to cement himself as a firm fixture within that squad, he’s certainly good enough…
Hopefully, we progress into the FA Cup semi-final with Martial getting in on the act – before sending him home with high morale and ready to make an impact for Les Bleus.
