Antonio Valencia apologises to Manchester United fans

Well, it was nice to dream. Manchester United were eventually dumped out of the Champions League last night, but it was nice to see the lads put up a fight against the best team on the planet. Patrice Evra put United 1-0 up on the night with a scorcher, before Arjen Robben tore the left-back apart.

Understandably, the fans and players alike are disappointed. One of United’s better performers on the night, Antonio Valencia, has taken to social media to express his disappointment and apologised to the United fans.
