Manchester United have been given a boost in their pursuit of Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal, as the player himself admitted that he would love to play for one of the biggest teams in the world. He admitted this whilst speaking to Chile television station ‘Chilevision’.
The 27-year old midfielder would completely change our abilities to compete in the middle of the park – something we’ve been unable to do over recent years. Ander Herrera and Arturo Vidal sounds like a much better partnership than Tom Cleverley and Marouane Fellaini, doesn’t it?
Arturo Vidal (on Chilevision): “*laughs* Of course! Because any player would love to play for one of the biggest teams in the world.”
If Vidal knew he was staying in Turin for the upcoming season, surely he’d deny any reports of a move away? Maybe, just maybe, this move for Arturo Vidal could actually happen. We’ll just have to wait and see…
Would signing Arturo Vidal make this summer the best in our history? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
