Whilst speaking to a Chilean newspaper, Arturo Vidal has finally shed some light about a potential move to Manchester United. The 27-year old midfielder has suggested he knows about the interest from United and Madrid, but no move has been agreed yet.
He goes on to add that he feels happy in Juve, and he could spend the remainder of his career in Turin. He has a week left of his holiday, and we should know more shortly after that.
‘It’s difficult to speak of other teams when you are already at a top club,’ Vidal said to Chilean newspaper La Cuarta. ‘I have won the Serie A title three times and I respect my team-mates.‘
‘I have heard about the interest shown by Real Madrid and (Manchester) United in me but there is someone (Vidal’s agent) who deals with this.’
‘Have I completed a cycle (at Juve)? I don’t feel that way,’ he said. ‘Perhaps I will remain at Juventus all my life.’
‘Now the only thing on my mind on is that I have seven or eight days of holiday left and I want to go away from Chile in order to have a good rest.’
I guess we’ll know a lot more when Vidal returns from holiday at the end of the month. It looks as though the Chilean midfielder would like to move away from Turin, but it wouldn’t bother him too much if he had to stay there for another season.
