Manchester United are right in the middle of an integral stretch in their season. Things were looking all rosy under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but a tough home loss to Paris Saint-Germain has brought us all back down to reality.
For the Red Devils, the tough games keep coming. Next weekend, Solskjaer’s men host Liverpool in what is a massive Premier League encounter for both teams.
Before that, though, the Baby Faced Assassin takes his players South to take on Chelsea in an FA Cup clash that could well be our last chance at winning a trophy this term.
Let’s take a look at the intriguing betting markets ahead of the eagerly anticipated encounter (18+ only)
Chelsea – 20/21
Draw – 5/2
Manchester United – 14/5
As you’d imagine, the Red Devils are slight underdogs going into the match. Maurizio Sarri’s men are always tough to beat on their own patch. We should expect a hardfought clash this time around, particulalry as it’s a place in which we always struggle.
I’m going into this one feeling confident, though. Chelsea’s defence has probably been worse than ours recently, and despite our injury concerns, I fancy us to score at least twice. Bet on United to win at 14/5 with Bet UK.
First goalscorer market
Marcus Rashford has been in impeccable form with Solskjaer at the wheel. He’s scored goals galore while using his immense pace to great effect. Odds of 7/1 for the Wythenshawe-born-forward to net first is certainly tempting. Bet on Rashford to score first with Bet UK.
It’s also worth considering Paul Pogba will be wanting to right those wrongs from last time out. He has been brilliant over the last month or so. He fetches in first goalscorer odds of 17/2, but with him being the penalty taker, you have to like his anytime value of 11/4.
Both Teams to Score
Yes – 2/3
No – 11/10
United and Chelsea’s defence has hardly been watertight this term. With such firepower in both attacks, you’d think it’s guaranteed that both sides will create chances aplenty – thus eventually scoring. I’d go for yes in the BBTS market. Bet on BTTS at 2/3 with Bet UK.
