Bruno Fernandes achieves best Man United rating of the season on WhoScored

Well, he’s only been here a few weeks and we’re already running out of superlatives to describe Bruno Fernandes.

Three league games played, three Man of the Match performances. Not bad for Manchester United’s new hero, eh?

Credit to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the board for making the move happen during the mid-season window, but it does make you wonder why this boy wasn’t signed over the summer. He’s absolutely unbelievable.

Anyway, the good news for Fernandes keeps on flowing, with the 25-year-old United star earning WhoScored’s best rating of any Manchester United players in the Premier League this season. Honestly, what a stunning player we have on our hands.

He has only been here five minutes and you just know that he oozes class. You look at his cameo against Club Brugge on Thursday night and the game changed. He was the creator, the go-to man and on another day he’d have secured all three points for his team. Not many can do that.

Right now, the confidence is flowing and rightly so. Fernandes could drive us to a place in the top-four, particularly if he keeps improving as he gradually gets used to his new surroundings.

Congratulations, Bruno! We’re lucky to have you!
