Manchester United continued their pre-season tour with another win as the Red Devils overcame San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 in the early hours of Wednesday morning. As expected Louis van Gaal rung the changes as he wanted to get a look at all of his players.

Manchester United managed a 2-1 win at home to Stoke City tonight, with Marouane Fellaini and Juan Mata getting the goals that strengthens United’s grip on a top four spot. However, many of the plaudits will go to David de Gea, who was yet again outstanding – particularly in the dying embers of the game as he made a last-minute save that saved all three points.
Manchester United’s Daley Blind was in action against Mexico for his native Holland this evening, and our young midfielder scored an absolutely wonderful goal that was Paul Scholes-esque. Blind is becoming increasingly popular amongst the Old Trafford Faithful, and the passion he seemingly has for the club only further enhances that.
Marouane Fellaini has been playing like a man possessed since Louis van Gaal became gaffer, and the big Belgian is slowly but surely winning over the Old Trafford Faithful, too. In a pre-season friendly Fellaini scored the winner against Valencia in the dying embers of the game before we lost him through injury for around a month.
Two of Manchester United’s three amigos took part in a crossbar challenge recently, as Juan Mata and Ander Herrera go head-to-head to see who is the first player to hit the bar three times. As you’d expect, the contest was an extremely close affair, but watch the video and see who comes out on top below!
Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney scored another goal for England tonight, and is now just six goals away from equaling Sir Bobby Charlton’s record of 49 goals for his country. Rooney scored this superb free-kick, which proved to be the only goal of the game as the Three Lions beat Estonia 1-0 to maintain their 100% win record in Euro 2016 qualifying.
Radamel Falcao has seemingly taken his excellent club form onto the international level, as El Tigre scored in his first game for Columbia since November of last year. The 28-year old striker also managed to grab an assist as Columbia overcame El Salvador late on last night.

Since hanging up his boots just over twelve months ago, Paul Scholes has been involved in football in various roles, including coaching and punditry. The Ginger Prince has been on ITV’s panel for this seasons Champions League, and tonight he attended Manchester City’s home game against AS Roma.
What a week it has been for young Tom Thorpe. The 21-year old U21 captain made his Manchester United debut from off the bench this weekend, and tonight he scored the winner as United’s U21s beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1. He put away a bullet header after an excellent cross from Adnan Januzaj.
