On transfer deadline day last summer, Manchester United made the swoop to bring Radamel Falcao to the club on a season-long loan deal, but unfortunately the move didn’t work out the way everyone involved would’ve intended, as El Tigre managed just four goals.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have opened talks with Falcao’s representatives, and even met them on Friday to discuss a permanent transfer for the 29-year old Columbian.
It would be disappointing, and rather annoying if Radamel Falcao goes to Chelsea and starts banging in the goals for fun. But then again he has no loyalty to us as it was United that chose not to keep him.
Part of me wants him to succeed if he does go there, because it was a real shame to see him unable to produce the goods at Old Trafford, just as long as he doesn’t guide Chelsea to back-to-back league titles next term.
