Manchester United have unearthed another gem of a player over the last month or so, as Marcus Rashford has been given his big chance, and taken it with both hands. Chris Smalling has been speaking to the media about Rashford’s emergence, and admitted he wouldn’t like to face him.
“He’s always on the defender’s shoulder and if I was up against him, he would certainly put fear in you!” Smalling said. “He’s done it in the previous games as well, so it’s great for him and great for us.”
The young striker has been sensational since he has been appearing in the first-team regular. His pace is a real threat, as well as his calmness under pressure and ability to stick the ball in the back of the net.
If he keeps progressing and developing his game at this current rate, we could well have a real star on our hands over the next decade.
