Manchester United and Manchester City have been enemies for years, but only recently has that rivalry become even more enhanced, due to the resources available to the blue half of the city because of their new Arabic owners.

Yaya Toure has had his say on his current side, and claimed that they still have some way to go if they are to eclipse Manchester United.

“We have to show Manchester United ‘Yeah we’re becoming like you’. They’ve been winning trophies for years.” Yaya Toure began. “I want City to be like them (United). That is what I am fighting for and I will never give up.”

Yaya Toure is right as well. City have been outstanding over the last few years, but it takes more than that to become one of the biggest clubs in the world. There is no doubting they are certainly on the right track, but they have a bit of a way to go just yet if they are to eclipse their fiercest of rivals.
