Confirmed: Manchester United do have buy-back clauses on two talented attackers: report

Manchester United Football Club have been hit and miss this season. From the highs of heading to Turin and toppling Juventus, to getting shown up away at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Signings are always a topic of discussion, particularly following the turgid summer transfer window, United had, and it’s always intriguing to know who the next transfer target it.

Perhaps the biggest transfer recently is United’s big-money move to bring Paul Pogba back. Since then, several players have left Old Trafford, with fans questioning whether a buy-back clause was inserted.

It seems as though United have learned their lesson, as according to the Manchester Evening News, two up-and-coming talents do have a buy-back clause in their current contracts.

The first name is Memphis Depay. The Dutchman arrived at the Theatre of Dreams on the back of a stunning season with PSV Eindhoven, big things were expected. Sadly, it didn’t quite work out and he was swiftly sold to Lyon. Thankfully, though, United have the option to bring him back if they so choose, and don’t be surprised to see it happen in the not too distant future…

Another player is Adnan Januzaj. The Belgian started life at United like a house-on-fire. He was supposed to be the next big thing, but he quickly fell off the pace and now he’s at Real Sociedad. Again, United do have the option to buy Januzaj back, but it’s fair to say he’s not hit the dizzy heights of his debut season again.
