Crisis? What crisis? Manchester United take on Brighton this afternoon, in a game which sees Anthony Martial’s return from exile. Romelu Lukaku also plays, with United having a real opportunity to prove that they’re in for an excellent campaign.
The starting line-up has been confirmed, with manager Jose Mourinho making a few changes. It looks as though at least one of which was forced through injury, with Alexis Sanchez missing out.

David de Gea obviously keeps his place in goal after an excellent display to start the season. We’re lucky to have the best goalie in the business. No doubt we’ll be calling upon him this afternoon.
Luke Shaw was superb last time out so he rightfully keeps his place, despite Ashley Young coming back into the team. The Englishman will play at right-back, taking Matteo Darmian’s spot. Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof seems like an excellent partnership on paper. It’s time for the pair to re-enforce that belief.
Andreas Pereira, Paul Pogba and Fred is a midfield trio filled with dynamism, creativity and energy. In the modern-day game, the ability to work hard on both sides of the ball is key. This lot have that in abundance.
Big Rom is back! Our main goal-getter from last season makes his first start of the campaign, no doubt he’ll be looking to fire in even more this season. As previously discussed, Martial plays. Juan Mata makes up the XI.
