Confirmed Starting XI: Manchester United vs Everton FC

Manchester United have been passed at the top of the table by fierce rivals Manchester City. Today, though, the Red Devils will have a chance to join the Blues, if they can overcome a tough Everton side – with Wayne Rooney lining up at Old Trafford for the opposing team.

The starting line-up is in, and as expected, Jose Mourinho has named a strong team. David de Gea will of course continue, and Antonio Valencia, alongside Phil Jones and Eric Bailly all come back into the team.

The big powerhouse up top Romelu Lukaku will be brimming in confidence following making his Champions League debut on Tuesday night – which was one of the main reasons why I believe he chose to come to the Theatre of Dreams.

We’ll need a big match from Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who’ll be tasked with creating the opportunities in Paul Pogba’s absence. Nemanja Matic continues, as does Marcus Rashford.

Confirmed Starting XI

De Gea; Valencia, Jones, Bailly, Young; Matic, Mata, Fellaini; Mkhitaryan, Rashford, Lukaku.

The game will be a close affair but I’m feeling confident that we’ll be able to scoop up all three points.
