Confirmed Starting XI: Swansea City vs Manchester United – Lindelof starts

Manchester United has had a poor week. Jose Mourinho’s men suffered their first defeat of the campaign, against Huddersfield Town nonetheless.

Tonight, attentions turn to Carabao Cup action. The Red Devils head to Wales to take on Swansea City, with a place in the quarter-finals on offer for the winner.

The starting line-up is in, with Mourinho naming a good blend of youth and experience. I’m excited to watch both Axel Tuanzebe and Scott McTominay take to the field. Victor Lindelof also plays, which is great as his confidence won’t be shot.

Sergio Romero gets the nod, allowing some vital rest for David de Gea. Ander Herrera plays, and we’ll finally get to see both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford start together. It’ll certainly be interesting to see how they do, but I’m feeling confident, despite the game being away from home.

Getting a result here is so important. We need to get back to winning ways, especially with some tricky games against both Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea just on the horizon. I always back our lads to do well, so, hopefully, we’ll be celebrating a victory in a couple of hours.
