Confirmed Starting XI: WBA vs Manchester United – Jesse Lingard starts

Manchester United Football Club face another stern away day, with Jose Mourinho’s men on a nice little unbeaten run across all competitions at the moment. West Brom and Tony Pulis is never an easy fixture, and they are bang in form at the moment, making it all the harder.

The team news is in, and as expected, Jose has kept things extremely similar to the last match bar a few changes in particular.

David de Gea keeps his place in goal after a good display, and he’ll have the now usual back two of Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones sat in front of him. Antonio Valencia makes a return to the team after serving suspension, meaning Matteo Darmian switches to left-back.

Michael Carrick will play his third game in six days today, but Jose has faith in him that he’s able to do so. Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba make up a supremely talented midfield.

Juan Mata misses out in favour of the pace of Jesse Lingard. Both Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic start to complete the line-up.

Starting XI

De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Darmian, Carrick, Herrera, Lingard, Pogba, Rooney, Ibrahimovic.

Subs: Romero, Blind, Smalling, Fellaini, Mata, Martial, Rashford
