Manchester United’s best chance at silverware comes in the FA Cup. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, would love to be hoisting a trophy come May, and a place in the last four is available here.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are a brilliant side, though. Beating them, particularly on their own turf, will not be easy. They’re solid defensively and more than capable of turning it on in attack.
Now, the Red Devils team news is in and the Baby Faced Assassin has made a few changes – including a couple of key men returning from injury…
True to his word, Solskjaer has kept his faith in Sergio Romero in goal. The Argentine was super against Chelsea and he’ll definitely be tested here again.
Luke Shaw plays at left-back, with Diogo Dalot starting in place of the suspended Ashley Young at right-back. Victor Lindelof starts alongside Chris Smalling. Raul Jimenez could well prove to be a handful for those two.
Nemanja Matic will sit at the base of the midfield alongside Ander Herrera who has surprisingly returned from injury. Captain Paul Pogba will be tasked with creating the chances and carving out openings. We need a big game from him.
Jesse Lingard also makes a return, hopefully, this time around, he hasn’t come back too soon. Anthony Martial makes his first start of the month, alongside Marcus Rashford. Romelu Lukaku misses out through injury.
