Confirmed Starting XI: Zorya Luhansk vs Manchester United – Eric Bailly returns

Manchester United Football Club take on Zorya Luhansk tonight – a Ukrainian side who are hoping to notch up their first win in the competition. Jose Mourinho’s side need a win to ensure qualification, but that’s dependent on the game between Fenerbahce and Feyenoord.

The gaffer has named a relatively strong starting eleven, and we’ve been given the welcome news that Eric Bailly is back and available for selection following a long absence due to injury. He replaces Phil Jones who has definitely earned himself a rest after recent performances.

Sergio Romero comes into the side for David de Gea, and Ashley Young will begin at right-back, which personally I’m disappointed that Timothy Fosu-Mensah didn’t get the nod from Jose, but his chance will come.

Wayne Rooney is back from his domestic suspension and looks like he’ll start in behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan out wide.

Confirmed Starting XI

Romero, Young, Bailly, Rojo, Blind, Herrera, Pogba, Mata, Rooney, Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic.

Subs: De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Jones, Fellaini, Lingard, Martial, Rashford.
