Cristiano Ronaldo demands €630,000 a week for Manchester United return

Manchester United have been told that they’ll have to fork out a huge salary of €630,000 a week, if they are to lure Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford, according to German media outlet Bild. Ronaldo, who’ll be thirty next summer, is set to command a huge transfer fee on top of those massive wages, too.

Ronaldo set the world alight at both United and Real, and you cannot really see him playing for another club aside from those two giants. He’s won it all at both clubs, but he’s always retained the stance that he feels happier at Manchester United over Real Madrid.

We all know how big of a Manchester United legend Ronaldo is, but these figures we’re talking about here are absolutely ridiculous for someone approaching the wrong side of 30.

There are also concerns about a longstanding knee injury, which could effectively end his career if he picks up a serious bang on the injured area. It would be a huge risk, and personally I’d prefer that money to be spent on bringing in two world class players such as Strootman and Hummels.
