Cristiano Ronaldo reveals why he finds it hard watching Manchester United

Manchester United sold Cristiano Ronaldo for a then world record fee of a huge £80million. The Portugal star has gone on to win all that there is to be won with Real Madrid, but its great to hear that the 31-year old hasn’t forgotten the past.

“For me it is hard to see that Manchester United are not at the same level as before because it is a club that I love.” Cristiano Ronaldo said. “I think Manchester this season is better, but I think they still have work to do to be at the level of six, seven years ago.”

As a fan it has been difficult to watch United over the last couple of seasons. The football hasn’t been particularly easy on the eye and I cannot imagine it being all that exciting to play in.

Cristiano Ronaldo will always have a place in his heart for Manchester United which is great to see – its also nice to hear that he keeps supporting the club that made him the player he is today.
