Manchester United are hopeful of Paul Pogba returning from injury early. That’s according to Miguel Delaney, in an exclusive piece for The Independent.
Delaney says that the Red Devils think the 24-year-old will be available again before the end of October, eyeing Swansea away on the 24th as a potential return date for the star midfielder.
Pogba suffered the injury on September 12th in a Champions League game against FC Basel, and it’s fair to say it has been much tougher without him. This is a man who can split open defences with one swing of either boot. He can create chances out of nothing.
The most important part about this news is that Pogba could well be back in action for when Tottenham Hotspur visit Old Trafford on October 28th. We already know that he’ll miss Liverpool away this coming Saturday, but if we can get him fit enough to take on Mauricio Pochettino’s side, that’d be a great boost.
In his absence, the lads have done extremely well to continue their winning ways, but that won’t last forever. We need Pogba back as he has the potential to be a real difference-maker.
