David Beckham predicts pal will manage Manchester United one day

The Manchester United managerial role is definitely one of the most sought after in football, and there is no denying the fact that a certain Welsh Wizard would love the job on a permanent basis. One man who has gave Ryan Giggs his backing for the role is his old teammate, David Beckham.

“I’ve always said that Ryan has this streak through him that you see in top managers,” said Beckham.

“I saw it in him as a player. He’s so determined. When you see that, he knows so much of the club, it’s bred into him.

“Having somebody like that means so much to fans. I hope at some points Giggsy takes over, whether that’s in five or ten years – whatever.”

This is certainly high praise from one of the people who’ll know him best. We all know that Giggsy would love the job on a permanent basis in the future, and we got a glimpse of what he is about when he took over for those four games following David Moyes’ sacking.

One things a definite, he’ll be learning plenty under the guidance of Louis van Gaal at this point in time, and there is every chance that the Iron Tulip is preparing the Welshman in the best way possible so he can take over when Van Gaal calls it a day.
