David de Gea ‘agrees terms’ with Real Madrid

Manchester United are set to lose their Player of the Year, as David de Gea reportedly agrees personal terms ahead of a move to Real Madrid, according to the Daily Mail. The Spaniard is clearly keen on a move back to his hometown.

Louis van Gaal has confirmed that there is a large offer on the table for the 24-year old, but he’s clearly stalling to see if Real come in with an offer in the not too distant future.

It certainly looks as though we’ll be saying goodbye to one of our better players over the past few years, and it’ll be a huge blow for our ambitions going forward.

At the end of the day, you cannot blame him as its his hometown, and the opportunity to return home and play for one of the biggest clubs in the world would be too much for anyone to say no to.

Who would you choose as a De Gea replacement? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
