Manchester United Football Club have been playing some brilliant defence recently, and that was improved over the weekend when Eric Bailly finally became available for selection again following the African Cup of Nations. It really is brilliant to have him back on the field, he’s just that good.
The Ivorian became a mainstay in the Red Devils back four before picking up an injury, which then led to Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo forming that excellent partnership. However, the 22-year-old is back now, and upon his return, David de Gea had some praise for the talent.
Our Spanish #1 took to Twitter to say that Bailly has returned better, and the defender is even better at speaking in both English and Spanish! Which obviously pleased our shot-stopper.
I always find it really interesting working out what friend-groups the players have off the field, and it seems these two are pretty good mates. This can only help them on the field too, as they’ll be able to communicate in a much clearer manner.
Have a look at the tweet here:

Could this be the next Manchester United bromance?
