David de Gea tells Man Utd team-mates he wants to leave Old Trafford

The future of David de Gea is still well up in the air, and the 24-year old’s next club is still a mystery to all involved with nobody really sure what he plans to do next season. However according to the Daily Mail, he has told his Manchester United team-mates he wants to move to Madrid this summer.

The same paper go on to say that Rafa Benitez’s side are preparing an £13million offer for the Spanish shot-stopper, but it is expected that United will reject that approach immediately.

The Manchester United squad are expecting him to leave, and that does leave a massive hole in a key area of the field, and one which Louis van Gaal will have to fill before the season starts at the beginning of August.

If he does leave, my number one choice as a replacement would be Petr Cech, but unfortunately he looks set to stay in London as a move to Arsenal nears.
