Manchester United Football Club have made a strong start to the 2017/18 Premier League campaign. The Red Devils have won their opening three matches in convincing manner, and Jose Mourinho has to be pleased with the start that has been made.
As we all know, the Premier League season is long and a hard battle throughout. It’s now up to the players to keep up with this great form for the next nine months and do their best to bring the title home for the first time in five seasons.
Now, one fan favourite, Dimitar Berbatov, has had his say on the situation and he has confessed that he still watches every game. On top of that, he has tipped his former employers to do very well this year.
“I watch almost every game and I would like to see them become champions in the end,” Berbatov is quoted as saying by Goal.
“The squad is great. There is good balance in almost every position, so this will be very helpful in the long [Premier League] season as well as the other competitions they are in.
“I could see the team was in great shape and they were also really strong as a group.”
It’s always great to see our former stars speak out so well of our club and as previously mentioned, we’ve started well. The squad is looking in good shape and our injury record seems to have improved (touch wood). We now need to keep going, take every match as it comes and keep the points rolling in.
