Manchester United fans have every right to be upset with the result and performance away at Southampton on Saturday evening.
Jose Mourinho will cop for a lot of the stick, but let’s be honest, he wasn’t the only one. The players didn’t perform once again, with the self-proclaimed Special One being left frustrated once again.
I think the result, match as a whole and overall output can be summed up perfectly by Paul Pogba’s individual match. He lost the ball countless times, dilly-dallied in possession and on the whole, he was just awful.
For a man who cost £89million to bring back to Old Trafford, you have to say that he hasn’t lived up to that hefty price-tag yet, and at the moment, I’m questioning whether he ever will come good in United Red.
Sometimes, I feel as though he’s taking this club for a ride. He’s just picking up those hefty wages and laughing all the way to the bank. Well, judging by the reactions on social media, the fans have finally lost their patience with the underperforming 25-year-old, and rightly so.
Check out the reactions to Paul Pogba’s shocking display here:
This has been one of the worst games for Paul Pogba in a Manchester United kit. Disasterclass.

World Cup winner Paul Pogba lost possession 25 times today against a side in the relegation zone that haven't won at home since April.

Mourinho said United players need to play with their brain. Paul Pogba has seemed brainless today.

You guys know much I love Paul Pogba but today was pure troll shithousery from him today. Something about his body language screamed "I don't care". It's a poor performance, but top that off with negative body language? Truly sad and numbing day for me once again. #FullTimeJohn
