DONE DEAL: Man Utd complete second signing of summer

Manchester United made the move for Memphis Depay a couple of weeks ago now, and Louis van Gaal is clearly keen on bolstering his squad quite heavily before the new seasons begins in August as he tries to turn his side into title challengers once again.

United have just completed their second signing of the summer, and it comes in the form of a potential David de Gea replacement – but not for a few years yet.

Moutha Sebtaoui, 16, has joined the club from Belgian side Standard Liege, and the media in his home country are tipping him to follow in the footsteps of his fellow Belgian Thibaut Courtois.

Obviously nobody knows an awful lot about Sebataoui’s style of play, and with him being so young this deal is always going to be a bit of a gamble as you never really know how much a player will develop from the potential they have shown.

That said, its always nice to see United try to continue with tradition and develop younger players rather than spending big on a proven name.
